Samantha + Ethan Elope on the beach in beautiful Morro Bay, California. Ethan is in the military and before their next adventure overseas, the couple decided to get married on the warm sand with the world renound Morro Bay Rock as their backdrop. Sam wore the most beautiful, jaw dropping dress! Let me just tell you…If you are going to elope or getting married on the beach, the key to choosing the best beach wedding dress is picking something light and FLOW-Y! Say it with me now! Move-ment! For your wedding day pictures, you want all the wow, moments you can get and a dress that moves in the wind will give you exactly what you want. Sam nailed it with this light and airy dress, her hair down so we could whip it around for some extra drama. Honestly they looked like they were on the cover of The Knot or Wedding Wire magazine. You tell me! Did we nail it or what? Take a peek below!

Sam’s father walked her down the aisle and the couple were genuinely excited as they said their vows to each other under an arch in the sand. Once the ceremony concluded, we headed to the grassy dunes to get some secluded romantic portraits.

I always try to capture those “take your breath away” moments for couples on their wedding day. Give it a little mood, movement and drama, in a good way of course. As long as my couples are comfortable with it, I’ll have you dancing, playing and laughing with each other to capture the real emotion of the day. If it’s a moody vibe you’re going for, I’m your girl. I love bringing out the rich tones of a beach sunset or the drama of the clouds behind you. Check out these images below. I had Sam flip her dress as Ethan spun her around. Before you know it, the were dipping, kissing, and secret-handshaking their way to what looks like the cover of Vogue!

It was a perfect day at the beach for this wedding. Instead of the beach sunset ceremony, the couple opted for a daytime vibe. The blue sky and puffy blue clouds were definitely a vibe! Yes, the sand was studded with people around the water, but it only made it that much more special as the families around cheered for Sam and Ethan and congratulated them on their new adventure.

Congrats Sam and Ethan! I’m so excited for you two and your new life. Ethan – Thank you for your service! Sam – Thank you for your love and support to Ethan as he serves.
